Since 2005 Mike has been a passionate advocate for fairness and transparency in immigration matters, becoming internationally recognised for his work.

On 12/12/12 he became the first person in the world to ever be awarded the Graduate Certificate in NZ Immigration Advice (GCNZIA Level 7), during 2013 Mike sat on the New Zealand Government's Immigration Adviser Authority reference group.
